Leading Tamil actor Arun Vijay's next venture, Borrder, will open in cinemas on February 24, 2023, the long-awaited film's production banner All In Pictures has announced. The film's release has been delayed on a few occasions already and the makers' latest announcement shows that they have planned well ahead away from any big ventures coming out in the days ahead that include 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Varisu and Ajith Kumar's Thunivu landing in theatres for Pongal in January, followed by Dhanush's Vaathi on February 17.

Borrder is Arun Vijay's next collaboration with director Arivazhagan after the duo hit the bullseye with their Kuttram 23 in 2017 and the Tamil thriller web series Tamil Rockerz, which premiered on the SonyLIV streaming platform earlier this year. There is quite a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming film, billed to be an intense espionage action thriller, which also had a powerful trailer released last year. Arun Vijay will be seen playing the role of a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) specialist in Borrder, with the trailer that came out previously showing him in several action-packed sequences as the film is said to be a treat for fans of the spy fiction genre. Produced by T. Vijayaraghavendra of All In Pictures with the all-India theatrical rights being acquired by Dr. Prabhu Thilak's 11:11 Productions, Borrder has Arun Vijay paired with popular Telugu heroine Stefy Patel, while Rajathandhiram and Nenjam Marappathillai actress Regina Cassandra is appearing in a pivotal role and will feature music by Sam C. S. Arun Vijay will want Borrder to be successful at the box office after his last two theatrical outings this year, Yaanai and Sinam didn't fare as he might have hoped, while his performance in Oh My Dog released on Amazon Prime Video earned him a lot of appreciation.
