Comedy horror films in Tamil cinema have received a largely positive feedback from fans and blockbuster director-actor Sundar. C has seen unprecedented success in the genre over the past years with his Aranmanai franchise. The next installment in the hit franchise, Aranmanai 3, releasing in theatres on October 14 as a grand Ayudha Pooja treat is currently one of the most anticipated films of the year and has Arya and Raashi Khanna as the lead pair, with Andrea Jeremiah cast in a pivotal role. Jointly produced by Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media, with the worldwide theatrical distribution rights being acquired by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, promotions for Aranmanai 3 are being carried out in a spectacular manner, with the team surprising fans on Tuesday by releasing the 'Theeyaga Thondri' song composed by C. Sathya and sung by iconic singers Hariharan and Shankar Mahadevan. 

The 'Theeyaga Thondri' song video in Aranmanai 3 is featured on Hariharan and Shankar Mahadevan and includes powerful lyrics penned by Naattu Raja Durai, with director Sundar. C interacting with the singing duo throughout the course of shoot. The film has been censored with a U/A certificate and will incidentally mark late comedy superstar Padmashri Dr. Vivekh's final appearance on the big screen after he passed away in April this year. Expectations for Aranmanai 3 are high as fans look forward to yet another memorable entertainer on the lines of the previous two films in the franchise. The film includes an ensemble star cast with the likes of Yogi Babu, Manobala, Sakshi Agarwal, Myna Nandhini, and several others.
