Comedy horror films have spelled success for many in the Tamil film industry over the years and blockbuster director Sundar. C too has adapted himself effortlessly in the genre with his Aranmanai franchise. The latest film in the hit franchise, Aranmanai 3, released as a grand Ayudha Pooja treat on Friday is witnessing a strong showing, with family audiences thronging theatres everywhere. Produced by Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media and, Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies distributing the film, Aranmanai 3 starring Arya, Raashi Khanna, Andrea Jeremiah and Sundar. C in the lead roles has taken stunning opening in cinema halls across Tamil Nadu. 

According to reports, Aranmanai 3's day 2 box office collections have beaten the first day's numbers and is yet another feather in the cap for the Sundar. C, who has reinvented himself in each endeavor he has embarked upon. Prior to its release, Sundar. C stated that the film was made with the intention of transporting audiences to a world of fantasy as it includes a story with plenty of horror and comedy elements appealing to audiences of all ages. Aranmanai 3 is standing tall alongside films like Doctor, including the Hollywood blockbuster, No Time To Die, and is expected to continue its successful run in the days going forward. 

Aranmanai 3 is not only a bittersweet film for many of the cast members, but also the fans as it is late comedy superstar Padmashri Dr. Vivekh's final appearance on the big screen after he passed away in April this year. Many fans who have watched the film have stated that it was an emotional affair to see the iconic comedy star perform for the the last time on the big screen. Vivekh’s comedy antics in Aranmanai 3 alongside Yogi Babu and Manobala have received a good response from fans, with the film's supporting cast also featuring Sakshi Agarwal, Myna Nandhini, and several others.
