Based on the picture, it is now known that both Kamal Haasan and A. R. Rahman are in the US for each of their own respective projects and toured the Oscars Museum where they watched The Godfather together. More pictures of the duo have also surfaced online and show them enjoying their time at the premier institution dedicated to the art and science of movies. It is being reported that Kamal Haasan is currently in the US for Indian 2 for which the film's director Shankar and cinematographer Ravi Varman are meeting leading Hollywood VFX and computer graphics artists Lola Visual Effects to possibly discuss the de-aging process for the portions featuring the Tamil cinema superstar in a younger avatar.

Earlier this week, Kamal Haasan met Oscar-winning makeup artist and his close friend Michael Westmore with whom he collaborated in films like Indian (1996), Avvai Shanmugi (1996), Chachi 420 (1997), Hey Ram (2000), and Dasavathaaram (2008). Michael Westmore is once again said to be a part of Indian 2 and has done the makeover for Kamal Haasan in the film, which is jointly being produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. A. R. Rahman, on the other hand, has been announced to be a part of Kamal Haasan's prestigious KH 234, which marks the actor's big reunion with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam after 35 years since their Nayakan (1987). The hit composer also has in his lineup films like Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan coming out this Diwali in November, followed by Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn's period sports film Maidaan, while recently also being announced to be joining hands with two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush and Hindi filmmaker Aanand L. Rai for Tere Ishk Mein after their Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021).
