He is currently busy prepping up for the concert that is going to be held on the 11th of August. And a press meet was arranged for it and a various range of questions were put out to A.R.Rahman. Among them, he was asked by our team representative that how does he feel on Singappenney becoming a viral hit within just a few hours of release. To that, he had mentioned that it is his favorite song as it speaks of women empowerment and that the movie demanded for the song.
A.R.Rahman also added that he is pleased that it has reached even to people in villages and small towns. Furthermore, it was asked to A.R.Rahman if his concert would feature this song for which he said, "Of course Singappenney would be performed on stage". Watch out the video below to know more!
Coming back to A.R.Rahman's 2019 concert, it will be held on August 11th, at the YMCA ground, Nandanam, Chennai. Singers like Neeti Mohan, Haricharan, Benny Dayal, Jonita Gandhi, Sid Sriram, Swetha Mohan, ADK and Rajakumari are performing.
