Andrea Jeremiah lastly played the role of Chandra in Vetri Maaran's critically acclaimed movie, VadaChennai. Post that she had taken a break from acting and focusing on performing on shows. She recently performed in A.R.Rahman's live concert, which happened on the 10th August at Nandanam, Chennai. She had also recently released a book called Broken Wing, which many called it melancholic and painful.
In a recent media interaction, she had stated that she was under mental depression some time ago. She also went on to reveal that the reason behind it was because she was in a love affair with a married man. Furthermore, Andrea also mentioned that mental depression was the very reason she took the much-needed break. She added that her relationship was not a healthy one as she was being abused by her partner, which eventually led her to depression.
Later, the actress underwent Ayurveda treatment to emerge out of depression for the past couple of months. Now that she has recovered from it, we wish her our best to bounce back into Tamil cinema. She has films like Maaligai, Kaa, and Vattam which are in different stages of production.
