When PM Modi announced the demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupee notes, Superstar Rajinikanth was quick to congratulate PM on his move. However, in a recent even, director Ameer lashed out at Rajinikanth for his hypocritical statement. He reportedly said that he is unable to understand why the veteran star is praising the PM. "Where was he, when tickets of Kabali were sold at sky-rocketing prices, which is against government's guidelines. Is he ready to reveal Kabali collection figures," he reportedly said.
Ameer's comment on the star seems to have created quite an uproar on the social networking sites and Superstar fans are hitting back at the director for his statement.
