Amala Shaji, who already enjoys a massive fan following on social media for her quirky videos on Instagram, expressed her gratitude to Galatta for this latest accolade conferred upon her. Speaking at the gala event, she said, "I feel honored to have been a part of such a big event and I also want to thank my parents for their support. I want to extend my appreciation to all my fans for coming all the way to see me here and hope they will keep supporting me." Crediting her sister Amritha Shaji for her videos gaining popularity on social media, Amala also thanked her mother for the support she would provide in getting her costumes right.

Upon being asked about her favorite hero in Tamil cinema, Amala Shaji revealed that she is fond of everyone and stated that she likes 'Thalapathy' Vijay, Suriya, Dhanush, and the others a lot while informing that her sister would give her recommendations on the films to watch. When posed with the question if she would accept offers to act in films, she said that she isn't ready yet. Amala, who gave a performance by singing the chart-buster 'Thenmozhi' song from Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, was also asked if she would play the role of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's sister in the future and revealed that she would think about it before making a decision.
