Leading Telugu actor Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 continues to be the talk of the town nearly two months after its theatrical release and is still going strong even after coming out on OTT on Amazon Prime Video. The mass pan-Indian action entertainer directed by Sukumar has broken industry records across the country, with fans still raving about the power-packed performance of the 'Icon Star'. With the excitement for Pushpa among fans still high, a making video of Allu Arjun's transformation into his character Pushpa Raj has now been officially released and shows the process the actor underwent to nail his raw and rugged look.

As for the box office performance of Pushpa, the film has collected Rs. 365 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 50 days as per an official announcement. Since the film is a pan-Indian venture released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, it has yielded a 100 percent profit share for its global distributors. Pushpa's Hindi version too has tasted massive success as it recently entered the prestigious 100 crore club, while also being declared to be the highest-grossing Indian film in 2021. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, Pushpa: The Rise ended on a cliffhanger note. All sights are now set on the sequel titled Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is expected to arrive in theatres this December.

Apart from Allu Arjun, Pushpa has been powered by Sukumar's direction and writing, with the cast members Rashmika Mandanna leaving a lasting impression as the female lead. Likewise, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, who will be appearing in a full-fledged role in Pushpa 2: The Rule as the antagonist, had little to do in last year's film but is expected to deliver a knockout performance later this year in the sequel. Likewise, composer Devi Sri Prasad, who has been a big pillar in holding Pushpa together, once again came up with hit tunes, which continue to top the charts. His 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' song, which had Samantha in a special appearance, lit the screen on fire with her sizzling dance performance and has since inspired countless cover versions.
