One of the Pan-Indian films that caught the attention of movie buffs across India was Pushpa: The Rise. The film with Allu Arjun in the lead role and directed by Sukumar was released at the end of 2021. The album from the flick was a trendsetter as Instagram was filled with posts with songs Oo Solriya Oo Oo Solriya, Saami Saami and Srivalli from the film. The mass action drama film featured Allu Arjun in a rugged new look that made enthusiasts recreate the look and also has memorize and enact dialogues from the film in reels. The film also won many Filmfare and other awards. It features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead with Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anuasuya Bharadwaj and others as supporting cast with a special cameo by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film had an open ending leading to the second part of the film named Pushpa: The Rule.

The production house backing the project Mythri Movie Makers shared a making still from the second installment of Pushpa. The picture was tweeted by the makers of the film in October 2022 and they said “the entire team is putting all their best efforts to deliver the best” in Pushpa: The Rule. They also tagged the hero of the film, the director, celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker and a poster designer. It’s speculated that the two schedules of the shooting have been completed recently. In the second part, the fans can expect more action between Pushpa played by Allu Arjun and Bhanwar Singh played by Fahadh Faasil.
