Iran’s most influential director Jafar Panahi’s latest experimental feature Taxi will launch the All Lights India International Film Festival on November 15th. Taxi captures life in the contemporary Iran through interaction with passengers in a Tehran Cab. The film was well received by critics and viewers alike during the 65th Berlin International Film Festival where it garnered the ‘Golden Bear’ award, which is the top prize for Best Feature. The festival will open with a grand ceremony at Kochi. The screening of Taxi will be held at Cinepolis, Centre Square Mall in the city.

The four day festival has already become the talk of the town, which will showcase more than 130 best films from around the globe. The festival will witness a grand celebrity fiesta on the red carpet award night. The film fest will also be the venue for networking parties, well organized workshops, panel discussions and Trade Expos. The Delegate registration for the festival has already begun, which is going at a brisk pace.
