The AK 62 announcement has come as a big surprise to many considering fans were gearing up for the launch of AK 61 as it is the third venture Ajith is teaming up with director H. Vinoth under producer Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner after their Nerkonda Paarvai in 2019 and Valimai, which released recently. There has been tremendous buzz surrounding AK 61, with Boney Kapoor as well giving fans a glimpse into Ajith's look in the film sometime back. Lyca Productions will be leaving no stone in making Ajith's AK 62 as big as possible and is the first-time collaboration for the prestigious banner with the actor. The film is yet another mammoth venture for the production house as they are also bankrolling biggies like Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, followed by Sivakarthikeyan's Don and Vadivelu's Naai Sekar Returns, and will want to hit the bullseye with AK 62 as well. Ajith, who delivered a sensational opening with his Valimai, will be gearing up for a fresh collaboration with Vignesh Shivan, who himself is currently awaiting the release of his Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
