One of the biggest superstars, ‘Thala’ Ajith kicked off 2019 in stunning fashion with his Pongal release, Viswasam, going on to become a major box office blockbuster. The actor will be seen in the upcoming courtroom drama, Nerkonda Paarvai, which is hitting screens on August 8 after which he will begin filming for his next film, tentatively titled Thala 60, from the end of this month. Meanwhile, Ajith has been participating in the Tamil Nadu State Rifle Championship that has been taking place in Coimbatore where he has as per latest reports now come in at second place. The good news for Ajith fans doesn’t end just here as it is also being said that he has now qualified for the National Level Rifle Championship, which is to be held in December at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
Ajith is one of the few stars in Indian cinema, who has varied interests and is known for his passion for motor racing sports and had participated in the 2010 Formula 2 Championship while also serving as a ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser’ for the Daksha MIT students where he lent his valuable expertise to build an advanced UAV for the Medical Express-2018 UAV Challenge. The actor has also displayed his skills as a candid still photographer and had done a photoshoot a few years back with comedian Appukutty as his subject after which the pictures went on to become viral among fans.
