Ajith Kumar's Valimai is gearing up for a massive worldwide release in theatres on February 24 and is set to take a grand opening despite a few delays due to the pandemic and lockdowns. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner in association with Zee Studios, the team recently held a special screening of the upcoming action crime thriller for the people associated with the film. Post the Valimai screening for the pan-Indian team of Zee Studios, several notable industry personalities have taken to social media and are showering the film with glorious reviews. 

Rajesh Vasani, a former Censor Board member and close associate of Boney Kapoor, took to Facebook on Friday to express his excitement after watching Valimai i and compared it to Hollywood blockbusters like Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible films and the Fast & Furious franchise. These latest reviews from the Valimai special screening have only added to the excitement among fans, as it also is the second consecutive collaboration for Ajith with Boney Kapoor, H. Vinoth and composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film's ensemble cast features Kaala heroine Huma Qureshi, followed by Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda as the antagonist, while Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh, Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar among others are appearing pivotal roles.
