The much-awaited big reveal of Ajith Kumar's AK 61 has been made. Yes! The title and first look poster of AK 61 has been unveiled and here are the details. This mega biggie has been titled Thunivu and it will be an action packed drama. The first look introduces us to Ajith Kumar's character in the film and his makeover looks stylish and intriguing. Unlike Valimai, Ajith will be seen in a completely white-hair look in this drama and we see him holding a SMG gun in the first look. The star actor carries swag with ease and this first look is nothing short of a delightful treat for the fans and film buffs. The first look has the tagline that says, 'Not Guts No Glory' and it looks like the film is all about guts that one should have in order to succeed in his mission. 

After a long and patient wait, the first visual glimpse of AK 61 has finally been revealed and the entire social media has been abuzz about it. Thunivu is directed by H Vinoth who is working on his third consecutive film with Ajith Kumar after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios, the film has music composed by Ghibran. This will be Ghibran's second outing with Ajith Kumar after Valimai but will be the first full-fledged association.

The core technical team of the film has also been revealed through the first look. Nirav Shah has taken care of the cinematography while Vijay Velukutty is the editor of the film. Supreme Sundar is the stunt choreographer for Thunivu. Manju Warrier plays the female lead in the film and this one will be her second film in Tamil cinema after the blockbuster hit Dhanush starrer Asuran. The shooting of the film is progressing at a brisk pace and the filming is expected to be wrapped up in a month or two. More updates are awaited.
