Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, who recently announced her separation from her husband and actor Dhanush after 18 years of their marital life, has tested positive for Covid 19 and she has been admitted to a private hospital. Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth took to her official Instagram page to share this news and assured that she is doing fine and asked the people to stay safe and protected. Sharing a picture of her from the hospital bed, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth wrote, "Tested positive even after all precautions…got admitted ..please mask up get vaccinated and be safe … bring it on 2022! We’ll see what more is that you have in store for me ! 🤘🏼". 

 The fans and well wishers have extended their warmth and support for Aishwaryaa to recover soon and bounce back in action. Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth has directed two films - Moonu, starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan, and Vai Raja Vai, starring Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand. Up next, Aishwaryaa will be directing an independent music video for the popular music label Tips, and the pre production works for the same are in progress. Following the completion of this music video, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth will begin work on her third directorial venture which will be bankrolled by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions.

This yet to be titled flick will be a family entertainer that has been planned as a bilingual. The film has story penned by Sanjeev. Talking about the project in an official statement, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth had said, "I'm so excited to direct this film and with Lyca backing this project, our collective endeavour will be to bring a much needed, family entertainer for our Pan India audiences.".
