2022 started off as a tough year for Director Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth as she and actor Dhanush called it quits on their marriage which lasted for 18 years. The two publicly announced their decision through their personal social media accounts - Dhanush via Twitter and Aishwaryaa via Instagram. Following this, Aishwaryaa is back up on the director's chair emerging strong as ever. She is currently working on a new music video for which the teaser has been released.
Presented by Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, Prerna V. Arora and Tips Music, the song titled 'Musafir' stars Shivin Narang in the lead. The video is being made in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. It has been sung by Ankit Tiwari while the lyrics were penned by Kunaal Verma. The credits in her new music video features as Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth while she still holds Dhanush's title on her social media platforms. The multilingual video is being shot at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. Aishwarya posted photos revealing her return to the sets on Instagram with a caption stating "The joy in handling one of these beauties after years ….the picture talks for itself ! Aishwaryaa is shooting after years of hiatus. After her directorial debut with 3, her last studio film was Vai Raja Vai back in 2015 and her overall last project was the 2017 Cinema Veeran which stood as her documentary film debut. She is to make a comeback after 5 years with this song.
