Popular Tamil filmmaker Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, who recently made a return to direction with the music video 'Payani', announced her debut in Bollywood on Monday. The 3 director took to social media to reveal that her filmmaking debut in Hindi cinema is titled Oh Saathi Chal, while also unveiling a special poster announcing the upcoming film's launch. Aishwaryaa extended her gratitude to the producers of Oh Saathi Chal and wrote on Twitter, "My week couldn’t have started better." She added, "Happy and feeling blessed to announce my directorial debut in Hindi Oh Saathi Chal, an extraordinary true love story, produced by @MeenuAroraa @Cloud9Pictures1 @archsda #NeerajMaini need all your blessings and wishes." The news of Aishwaryaa's comeback to film-making has been met with a warm response from fans and celebrities across India, with her 'Payani' music video, which was launched as 'Musafir' in Hindi, 'Sanchari' in Telugu, and 'Yatrakkaran' in Malayalam receiving largely positive feedback. As for Oh Saathi Chal, the film marks the elder daughter of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's return to directing a big-screen feature film after her 2015 black comedy crime thriller Vai Raja Vai. Aishwaryaa incidentally also directed a documentary film titled Cinema Veeran in 2017, which shed light on the untold stories of stunt choreographers of Tamil cinema. 

As of now, the details on the cast and the crew for Oh Saathi Chal remain unknown and can be expected to be revealed once the film completes pre-production work and nears its shooting schedule. With the film set to introduce Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth in Bollywood, we can be sure she and the team of her new venture will be looking to lock big names to hit the bullseye on a grand note.
