Leading Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh's next big film gearing up for release is the much-awaited Driver Jamuna directed by P. Kinslin under producer SP Choudhary's 18 Reels banner. The upcoming film is an action thriller and has been announced to open in cinemas this November. Sharing a new poster, the team on Saturday, October 22, announced that Driver Jamuna has been given a 'U/A certificate by the censor board and is Aishwarya Rajesh's next theatrical release after the Telugu film, Republic, last October. Aishwarya Rajesh will be looking to come out all guns blazing and Driver Jamuna looks to be the perfect vehicle to carry her forward considering the trailer of the film released sometime back received good feedback from fans. The actress recently received the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Actress for her acclaimed performance in the 2014 film, Kaaka Muttai, and will be hoping to hit the high note once again. Driver Jamuna has been described to be an intense road film revolving around a cab driver and the obstacles she counters during a day's work from Walajabad in Kancheepuram to ECR on the outskirts of Chennai, with the makers revealing in the trailer that the film's duration will be around 90 minutes. 

Director P. Kinslin, who is best known for his Vathikuchi, which was produced by A.R. Murugadoss, will be looking to hit the bullseye with Driver Jamuna and the early visuals he shared in the trailer has convinced many that the film will be packed with twists and turns. Aishwarya Rajesh will be sharing screen space with names like Kavitha Bharathi, Abhishek Kumar, Ilaya Pandi, Manikandan Rajesh, Aadukalam Naren, among others, who have been cast in supporting roles, while the film has music composed by Ghibran, cinematography by Gokul Benoy, and editing by R Ramar, respectively. Driver Jamuna will be released in four languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam and Aishwarya Rajesh will aim to come out on top as she was last seen on Tamil screens in Vaanam Kottatum in 2020 after which her films like Ka Pae Ranasingam, Thittam Irandu, and Boomika premiered directly on streaming platforms.
