The sixth edition of Bigg Boss Tamil begins today (October 9) and the inaugural episode will be aired on Vijay TV and Disney Hotstar OTT platform from 6 PM. The fans are excitedly looking forward to the show as it will officially reveal the final confirmed contestants of this edition. With less than 12 hours for the show to begin, the first official confirmation of a contestant's participation has been made and it has garnered wide attention on social media already. Yes! Actress Aishwarya Rajesh's elder brother, Manikanta Rajesh will be participating in the show and he has already entered the house as one of the contestants.

Aishwarya Rajesh took to her official Instagram page to pen a heartfelt note about his brother, expressing how much he means to her. She revealed that she would be missing him for the next few weeks, requesting everyone to support him in this new journey. Manikanta Rajesh is the first officially confirmed contestant of this season and the rest of the contestants shall be known by the end of the day. Manikanta Rajesh has also been quite a popular figure among the television audience as he has already participated in Vijay TV's popular show, Mr and Mrs Chinnathirai: Season 3, along with his wife. Manikantan has also acted in quite a few serials. The sixth edition of Bigg Boss Tamil will begin today and will come to an end by the third week of January 2023.

This season will have a 24 hour live streaming where the audiences can see what the housemates are doing throughout the day. The 24 hour feed is available to stream on the Disney Hotstar platform while the 1 hour edited program will be aired on Vijay TV from 10 PM - 11 PM.
