One film that created instant excitement among fans upon its announcement is the long-awaited Arun Vijay and Vijay Antony-starrer Agni Siragugal directed by Moodar Koodam fame Naveen. M. Touted to be an action thriller and produced by T. Siva’s Amma Creations banner, the upcoming film's title set fans talking as it has been taken from late President Abdul Kalam's book, Wings of Fire. Agni Siragugal had begun production back in 2018 and completed shooting sometime in 2020 after a few unexpected delays. With the film currently in its post-production stages, the makers on Friday released the much-awaited Agni Siragugal teaser, which shows plenty of exciting action sequences, including a showdown between Arun Vijay and Vijay Antony.
Agni Siragugal is a multi-starrer and also features in its ensemble cast names like Akshara Hassan, Nasser, Prakash Raj, Satish Kumar, Raima Sen, Sendrayan among others, with the film shot in international locations across Kazakhstan, Russia, and Switzerland. The teaser roleplays Vijay Antony and Arun Vijay as warriors battling each other in ancient Rome with the sole intention of one of them being the last one standing. The Agni Siragugal teaser gives a glimpse into the high-octane action and the top-quality production value, with director Naveen raising more curiosity with his voice-over monologue describing Arun Vijay and Vijay Antony and the conflict they are facing.
Apart from the star-studded cast, Agni Siragugal has a highly-talented technical team featuring the likes of music director Natarajan Sankaran, followed by K.A. Batcha for the cinematography, Vetri Krishnan handling the editing, Mahesh Mathew in charge of the action choreography, Sowbaranika taking care of the costume design, and Yugabarathi, Naveen, and Therukkural Arivu penning the lyrics. The Agni Siragugal teaser ends on a high note informing fans that the trailer will be coming out soon and thus signaling that the promotions for the film's release will kick off in the days ahead.
