Actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram who is known to take up different roles throughout his career is currently in Kolar Gold Fields or KGF shooting for his upcoming film with critically acclaimed director Pa. Ranjith. The shooting for the film Thangalaan progresses rapidly as its Director of Photography posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets on Saturday. The film is bankrolled by K.E.Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio green. The first look poster from the film that was released last year shows it’s set in a pre-independence era and will be revolve around the gold miners in the Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka.
'Chiyaan' Vikram through his Instagram shared an aesthetically pleasing picture from the sets of the film in KGF. The picture shows a road with shrubs along the sides that extends forever with Sun shining radiantly offering a red-orange glow to the entire scenery. The award-winning actor captioned the post “Still sunny in KGF” as he posted the picture at around 8.00 PM on Sunday. He also posted multiple scenic shots from the shooting spot showing off his photography skills and captioned the post “Suntimes”. The comments under the pictures show people are excited about the photography skills of the talented actor as some also suggested the actor should explore cinematography.
Thangalaan has become one of the most anticipated films of the year since the first look of the film was released last year. The film will see Vikram sharing screen space with Malayalam actresses Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan and Harikrishnan Anbudurai. It will have music composed by talented G.V.Praksah Kumar, and cinematography by Kishore Kumar. Recently, it was announced that the crew welcomed English actor Daniel Caltagirone to the sets of the film as the makers shared a poster featuring the actor. As the filming continues, fans are excited to know more about the interesting project.
