Raghava Lawrence is a well-known person in the Tamil film Industry who has grown from being a dance master in major films to a lead actor in various hit films. He has also directed hit flicks and is known for the very popular horror-comedy film series, Muni/Kanchana. The upcoming film of the actor that is set to release is titled Rudhran and has Sarath Kumar playing the antagonist. The film is set to release in theatres on April 14. He also multiple anticipated projects at hand including Chandramukhi- 2 and Jigarthanda Double X.

Ahead of the release of Rudhran, Galatta media organised a fans meet for the well-known actor and filmmaker Raghava Lawrence. A special video featuring the actor's mother talking about the temple that he built for her was played as a surprise to the actor. Following the video the actor said “Thank you, How much ever age she has reached the childishness in my mother's speech has never changed, that is what I like very much about her. After building the temple, I said to her come let’s go to a temple. She said where? I said let's go to an Amman temple. She said what temple? where is it? I said in our Ambattur temple only. She asked 'only Raghavendra Temple was there right', I said no They have opened a new Ambal temple so let's go. When we opened it she did not cry at that time but after coming home she cried and asked why I had done that. Doing nothing, when your mother is here, than when she is dead, taking the ashes to Kasi, Serving food. Instead, I thought of making her happy when she is present."
Talking about how much of a support his mother was, Raghava Lawrence said “Without my mother grass would have grown at the place where I died. I had a brain tumour and struggled a lot. My one side became paralyzed and she would carry me and go from Stanley Hospital to Thiruvottiyur. Every time I am reborn I want to take good care of her. Not just for her. The word mother is equal to god, so those who are seeing this even if you are not talking to your mother go and talk for two minutes and everything will be over. Talk for two minutes, Hug her and kiss her on the cheeks. You don't need to do much for your father and mother. Just get blessings from them you don't need to go to any temple. Even if you want to become Ambani, if you have your mother's blessing you can." said the actor.
