Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s sister Nikhat Khan, who also happens to be an actor and producer, is all set to make her television debut with the show Banni Chow Home Delivery. The show is a Hindi adaptation of the Bengali hit TV show Khukumoni Home Delivery. Banni Chow Home Delivery will air and be made available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar from May 30 onwards. The show will also air on Star Plus.  

Nikhat confirmed the development and told Zoom TV, "I am excited to make my debut on the small screen with the leading channel of our country Star Plus. It’s an opportunity and an honour to make my place in the viewer’s heart. Viewers will get to know more about my character as the show moves forward. I am excited for the viewers to love my role as the story develops."

The show is created by noted TV producer Shashi Mittal and stars Ulka Gupta and Pravisht Mishra in lead roles. Apart from Nikhat Khan and the main leads, the show also features Rajendra Chawla, Harsh Vashisht, Vishal Puri, Parvati Sehgal, Ayush Anand, Pooja Singh, among others in supporting roles. The show's plot revolves around an orphan girl who delivers food to houses to earn a living. It also features a mentally challenged character who has a love for music.

For the unversed, Nikhat has made appearances in films such as Mission Mangal, Saand Ki Aankh and Tanhaji to name a few. She has even produced her brother Aamir's films earlier such as Lagaan, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and Tum Mere Ho. She has also produced numerous other shows whilst also helping her father Tahir Hussain produce the aforementioned Tum Mere Ho starring Aamir Khan.

On the other hand, Aamir Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his next, Laal Singh Chadha, which is scheduled to hit the screens on 11 August 2022. The film features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya who will be making his big Bollywood debut with this one. Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame has directed this official adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump.
