Popular Tamil filmmaker Sri Ganesh who is known for directing films like 8 Thottakkal and the recently released Kuruthi Aattam, got hitched this morning (September 7) in Chennai. Sri Ganesh tied the knot with Suhasini, who is also a part of the film industry. Suhasini is a theatre artist and actress by profession and she has acted in important roles in films like Seethakaathi and Nenjuku Needhi. The wedding took place at a temple on the outskirts of Chennai in the presence of family members and relatives. A reception event took place later in the evening for friends from the film industry.

His second venture was the recently released Atharvaa starrer Kuruthi Aattam which opened to mixed to negative reviews from the audiences. Kuruthi Aattam featured Atharvaa, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Radharavi, Vatsan Chakravarthi, Kanna Ravi, and others in lead roles and had music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
