Kalakalappu 2 - A Sundar.C directorial out-and-out comedy venture which ended up as a box-office winner by running well at the down South areas of Tamil Nadu.
Tamizh Padam 2 - A spoof comedy entertainer which was highly appreciated for Shiva’s timing humor and director C.S.Amudhan’s smart hilarious ideas. The film became a superhit success.
Vishwaroopam 2 - Kamal Haasan’s spy action thriller which was critically acclaimed but the audience missed out to receive it well and so the movie slipped at the box-office.
Saamy Square - Chiyaan Vikram’s cop action flick directed by Hari. Though the fans were in favor of the movie, it could not attract the general audience the BO push was missed out.
Sandakozhi 2 - Vishal’s rural action drama directed by N.Lingusamy could not live up to its first part. So, the movie missed out to hit the bullseye at the box-office.
2.0 - India’s costliest film featured Rajinikanth and filmed by Shankar. This 3D venture became a mega-blockbuster, especially in city areas, North India and in the overseas market.
Maari 2 - Dhanush’s gangster entertainer directed by Balaji Mohan missed having a jolly treatment after a point, the response is mixed, but the movie managed to put up a strong total in its long opening weekend.
