St. Britto's Academy's Dr. Vimala Rani Britto explains the journey of the FEFDY curriculum creation:

Dr. Vimala Rani Britto has earned a reputation in the education industry over the years and is the founder of the prestigious St. Britto’s Academy with her husband, Xavier Britto, a Tamil film producer. Currently, she is also serving in multiple entrepreneurial roles as the Chairman of Kerry Indev India Pvt Ltd and VKAN-V Solutions, Director of Kerry Indev Logistics, Managing Director of Esthell Hotels & Resorts, and Director at Esthell Homes. Recently, Dr. Vimala Rani, who is also running a non-governmental organization, Seek Foundation, sat down with Galatta in an exclusive interview to talk about the FEFDY curriculum at the St. Britto’s group of institutions and also shared the journey and the research that went into its creation.

Speaking about the amount of hard work that has gone into the creation of the FEFDY curriculum, Dr. Vimala Rani Britto stated, "It took almost 10 years for the research. This is because the curriculum is not something for the namesake or because I like it. This has to transcend from one generation to the next. Under such circumstances, there has to be maximum effort in the right way of conveying it and henceforth, a lot of research needs to be done. There are many people on the research team and along with them we create what is necessary as per the norms given by UNICEF once every few years for the kids' education. So, we refer and fulfill the norms in creating the curriculum."
