Popular Tamil serial actor Vimal Venkatesan, also known as Vijay Venkatesan, recently opened up about the possibilities of him participating in the upcoming fifth season of Bigg Boss. During a recent interaction with his followers on Instagram, one of them asked him a question that read, "Want to see you in BB Season 5. Is it possible??". Answering the question Vijay wrote, "Many have asked me this. I swear I don't know any one from Vijay TV personally.". It looks like Vijay has ruled out the possibility of him participating in the show considering the fact he doesn't have a professional relationship with anyone in the channel.

Vijay Venkatesan is currently acting in two serials in Zee Tamil - Poove Poochudava and Piriyadha Varam Vendum. Vijay plays the male lead in Piriyadha Varam Vendum serial and he has earned a good fan base for his performance in the serial.

Talking about Bigg Boss, it is one of the most-watched television shows which has a wide fan base. The show was introduced to the Tamil audience in 2017 and there has been no look back since then. Four seasons have been completed so far and all the editions have been highly successful, creating massive TRP records. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan featured as the host of the show for the four seasons and he made use of this show to reach a wider number of household audiences. The fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil happened from October 2020 to January 2021, unlike the usual period of June - October, due to the Covid 19 scenario.

Bigg Boss Tamil: Season 4 proved to be a good source of entertainment for the Tamil audience during the lockdown and it attracted a solid amount of viewership. Actor Aari Arujunan was declared as the winner of the fourth season, thanks to the humongous support he had from the people of Tamil Nadu.
