Yogi Babu's next film, as a lead actor, will be Mandela and the first look poster of the film has now been unveiled. The poster gives us a glimpse of Yogi Babu's character and at the same time also has elements that play an important role in the film's story. The poster also has certain political touches to it and from what we see, it looks like the film will have an interesting take on politics, as well. Yogi Babu will be seen in the role of a barber in this film and it is touted to be a fun-filled comedy entertainer. The poster looks quite impressive and tells us that it won't be yet another usual comedy-drama. Through the poster, the makers have made an additional announcement - revealing that the teaser of the film will be released tomorrow (March 13) evening.

The teaser will give us an idea of what and how the film is going to be. The film is directed by debutant Madonne Ashwin who is quite popular in the short film circuit. Mandela is produced by Sashikanth under the banner of Y Not Studios. Director Balaji Mohan, who is known for his movies like Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Maari, Maari 2, is the creative producer of Mandela. The film has music scored by Bharath Sankar and the audio rights have been acquired by popular music label, Sony Music. Master fame Philomin Raj has handled the film's editing, while the cinematography and art direction departments are headed by Vidhu Ayyanna and Ramu Thangaraj respectively.

The film has been censored with a clean U certificate. Rumours on social media suggested that Mandela will have a direct digital release on an OTT platform, but an official confirmation is awaited. We might get better clarity about it in the next few days. Apart from Mandela, Yogi Babu has movies like Panni Kutty and Pei Mama in which he would be seen in lead roles. As a comedian, Yogi Babu is part of several exciting films including Ajith's Valimai, Dhanush's Karnan, Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, Santhanam's Dikkiloona, Siddharth's Shaitan Ka Bachcha, Vishnu Vishal's Jagajala Killadi, Manikandan's Kadaisi Vivasayi, Mirchi Shiva's Saloon, and many others.
