A mighty big name in Tamil cinema at present, Yogi Babu is attached to every film that is being announced with the comedian proving his mettle as a performer of late in films namely Kolamavu Kokila and Pariyerum Perumal. That said, Yogi Babu has also been taking up projects as the lead among which include upcoming films namely Panni Kutty, Zombie and Mandela. Meanwhile, sources close to us have now revealed that Yogi Babu will next be starring in a film to be produced by SP Chowdhary’s 18 Reels banner. Furthermore, it has now been divulged that the upcoming venture is to be titled, Jithu Jilladi, from ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s hit song in the blockbuster, Theri.
An official announcement on Jithu Jilladi and its director, additional cast and crew is expected to be made soon from SP Chowdhary’s 18 Reels banner, who had previously distributed Santhanam’s recently-released film, A1, and are also producing the upcoming Dagaalty. Apart from the projects he is starring in the lead role, Yogi Babu is also part of biggies like Vijay’s Bigil, Rajinikanth’s Darbar, Sivakarthikeyan’s sci-fi film, SK 14, the action drama, Hero and the rural entertainer, Namma Veettu Pillai, Jayam Ravi’s Comali among a few other ventures.
