Director Sam Anton made heads turn in 2015 with his horror comedy, Darling, with GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role and had another film release in the form of his action cop drama, 100, starring Atharvaa a while back this year. Now, director Sam Anton’s next film, Gurkha, featuring Yogi Babu and Elyssa Erhardt in the lead roles is gearing up for its theatrical release this Friday on July 12. With the teaser and trailer receiving a good response from fans, the makers have now released the much-awaited fun and peppy “My Vellakaari” video song with vocals by GV Prakash, lyrics penned by Vignesh Shivan and music composed by Raj Aryan.
Gurkha is a comedy drama thriller and has been produced by 4 Monkeys Studio and has quite a lot of expectations surrounding it as the film’s plot also includes a dog and Yogi Babu playing the role of a security guard in a shopping mall, who is joined by veteran comedians Charlie and Manobala.
