Dharma Prabhu is Yogi Babu's first movie, playing the male lead, directed by debutante Muthukumaran with music by Justin Prabhakaran. The movie which had released on 28th of June, was supposed to be comedy entertainer but royally fails at both, although there are mixed reviews on the internet. Bankrolled by P Ranganathan of Rockline Productions, the movie also featured Janani Iyer in a cameo role. The movie has the mythical backdrop of Yamaloga, wherein Yogi Babu plays Yaman, Radha Ravi plays the role Yaman's father and Rekha as Yaman's mother. Ramesh Thilak essays the role of Chithiraguptan.
Yogi Babu has in his pipeline, Superstar's Darbar, Vijay's Bigil, Sivakarthikeyan's Hero, SK 16, Dhanush's Asuran, Jiiva's Gorilla, Jayam Ravi's Comali, Zombie, Asura Guru, Gurkha and Panni Kutty. 2019 has been an hectic year for Yogi Babu with multiple releases, that continues till 2020.
