K.G.F: Chapter 1 was a 2018 period action Kannada movie, that was also dubbed and released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and few other languages. The filming of the sequel, K.G.F: Chapter 2 had commenced in the month of March, which was announced on Instagram by Yash. A few days ago it was announced by the bankers of the movie, Hombale Films that an important character in the movie, Adheera would be unveiled today (29th July). For the people who guessed from the teased poster that it's the Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, you are damn right! It has now been made official, marking Sanjay Dutt's birthday today; check out the poster!
Being one of the blockbusters of Kannada cinema, the movie was also released in a couple of places, across the world. The digital rights of K.G.F: Chapter 1 was bagged by Amazon Prime, for a whopping amount of rupees 18 crores. This movie got a welcoming reception from the audience, while it had a mixed reviews from the critics.
However in the second installment of the movie, Yash would be reprising his role, as Raja Krishnappa Bairya "Rocky" and the movie had Srinidhi Shetty, Anant Nag and Vasishta N. Simha among the others.
