Off late, many horror movies have been made in Tamil and most of them have done well. Many movies even had sequels like Kanchana and Aranmanai. Recently, Aval released starring Siddharth and Andrea and is scoring well. Balloon is one such horror movie starring Jai, Anjali and Janani Iyer.

The movie is directed by Sinish, edited by Ruben and Yuvan Shankar Raja helms the music. Balloon movie has a special song 'Neenga Shut up panunga' , a famous dialogue rendered by Oviya in Bigg Boss.

The release date of Balloon has been confirmed as Dec 29 marking it to be one of the films that will release in the last Friday of 2017. Will there be more horror movies in 2018 also or will the trend change? Let's wait and see....
