Well, we all known that ace director Mani Ratnam has dropped his multistarrer with Karthi and Dulquer Salman in the lead. Though the clash of the actor's dates has been termed as the reason we hear that the director's story was similar to the Hindi film Badalapur released last year. Though his associates advised him to proceed with his version, he was reluctant and decided to shelve the project. He is currently busy with the pre-production works of his quickie with Karthi and Sai Pallavi in the lead.
