Visaaranai actor Pradeep Raj, who played one of four innocent guys, was in for a surprised when he was really nabbed by the cops under suspicion on Sunday. While waiting near a fruit shop in Kotturkuppam for his friends, the cops--who were doing their regular rounds to tackle the increasing number of chain snatchers in the area--took him for an inquiry at the Abhiramapuram police station. However, unlike the film, after realizing his innocence the cops allowed him to leave. And when Pradeep revealed that he plays an important role in Visaaranai, the cops treated him with respect and jokingly said, "Visaaranai padatha serndhavane visaaranai-la irukuran pa"
