Wedding bells for Shakeela
Noted Malayalam actress Shakeela, who has become a character actress these days after appearing in numerous soft porn movies during 2000-03, announced during the shoot of her latest film that she would marry her Chennai-based industrialist lover in June, 2010.
"Very recently, I lost my mother who was my support for years. I feel very lonely and unsafe now and have decided to marry my long time lover. Our relationship is going strong and we will marry in June 2010. I will reveal more details after getting his permission," the actress said.
The actress denied rumours that she was driven out of Malayalam films because of superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal. "It was a baseless rumour spread by some unwanted sources. My time was up with the decline of that type of movies and it had nothing to do with them," she said.
