Ace director Christopher Nolan, who is the director of the Batman series, has shown the rough cut of the third and final installment of the series, The Dark Knight Rises to Warner Bros' top executives on Friday.

Reports suggest that Warner Bros are very much satisfied with the result and they also tipped this movie to be the ultimate blockbuster of this summer. However, there is no word yet on how the executives reacted while screening the film.

The Dark Knight Rises is set eight years after the previous movie. Gotham city is faced with a  genetically enhanced villain Bane, who forces Batman to come out. Tom Hardy takes on the role of the hunk Bane while Christian Bale reprises his part as Batman for the last time. Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have also played integral roles in the movie.
