Leading Tamil comedy actor Vivekh has been a favorite among the people for more than three decades now and has evoked laughter, including thought-provoking messages in his films. One who has held high regard for late Indian President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Vivekh has also been indulged in planting saplings over the years for a better environment for the present and future generations. The veteran actor had not long back posted pictures from photo shoots in his salt n' pepper look, which took social media by storm, with fans asking him to take up more roles in films again.

Vivekh, who maintains a good rapport with his fans and followers on social media, had earlier on Friday shared a quote by Swami Vivekananda to students and requested them to follow the social reformer's principles for a better life and future. Post his tweet, there were responses from many fans, who said that today's youth were running behind film stars like Vijay and Ajith and one user referring to them as "koothadi" in his statement, while also tagging Vivekh. In response, Vivekh retorted by questioning back, "Why have you put up a 'koothadi' picture (comedy actor Vadivelu) as your Twitter DP if you feel as such? By calling us koothadi, we do not feel humiliated. It is an honour! Even Lord Shiva's dance was on the ground!!" Vivek's tongue in cheek reply has garnered a big response from his fans, who have been complimenting the actor for not being hurtful in his answer, but rather stuck to the details and facts. After Vivekh's 2019 turned out to be largely successful after his appearances in 'Thala' Ajith’s Viswasam and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Bigil, the comedy superstar's only big role in 2020 was in the hit Tamil rom-com Dharala Prabhu, which had Harish Kalyan and Tanya Hope in the lead roles. Vivekh's performance in Dharala Prabhu fetched him immense praise from fans and critics alike, with many labeling it to be one of his best displays of his acting skills. Vivek will next be seen in 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's highly-anticipated biggie, Indian 2, being directed by Shankar, with the Lyca Productions venture billed to be a vigilante action thriller and also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Samuthirakani, Delhi Ganesh among others, including music by Anirudh Ravichander.
