There are four movies lined up for release for this Pongal. Actor Vishal's Kathakali, Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan, Sasikumar's Tharai Thappattai and Udhayanidhi's Gethu. In an interview with Galatta, Vishal told that he and his friends will watch Tharai Thappattai first before watching any other film. Directed by Bala, Tharai Thappattai stars Varalakshmi Sarathkumar opposite Sasikumar. Only after seeing this film, Vishal will see his own film 'Kathakali' and two other films releasing on that day. Hmmm, it looks like the actor has set his priorities right.
