Vishal - Arya starrer Enemy is scheduled to release in theatres on November 4 for the festive occasion of Diwali and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the d-day. Enemy is expected to take a good opening at the box office, considering the star cast equation. Meanwhile, reports that surfaced on social media last night (October 21), claimed that Enemy has backed out of the Diwali race and this news made the film buffs confused. TPV Multiplex, a popular theatre in Tirunelveli, through a tweet, informed that Enemy's release is postponed to a later date.

To clear the air and speculations going around, the producer of Enemy, Vinod Kumar took to his official Twitter page to make the clarification. Vinod confirmed that Enemy will release for Deepavali in theatres across the world and clarified that the film is not releasing only in TPV Multiplex theatre. Vinod's clarification tweet read, "!! #Enemy is not releasing in TPV multiplex . #Enemy is releasing world wide on Dheepavali". This clarification from producer Vinod has come as a relief for the fans who would now be eagerly waiting to catch the film on the big screens.

Enemy is touted to be a stylish action entertainer that is directed by Anand Shankar of Iru Mugan and Arima Nambi fame. The face off between Vishal and Arya is expected to be one of the major highlights and this film marks the duo's second outing after Avan Ivan. Mirnalini Ravi plays the female lead in this film which has Prakash Raj and Mamta Mohandas in supporting roles.

Superstar Rajinikanth's highly anticipated Annaatthe is also scheduled to release on the same day and it is going to be exciting to see the box office clash between Annaatthe and Enemy. Let us hope and wish that both the films succeed at the box office, for the betterment of the industry.
