Actor-producer Vishal has been keeping himself with his film commitments as his upcoming lineup includes ventures namely Chakra, Enemy and his directorial debut, Thupparivaalan 2. Among these films, his Chakra is an action thriller and marks the directorial debut of MS Anandan produced under the Vishal Film Factory banner. Chakra, which had been embroiled in controversies a while back, will be hitting theatres worldwide on February 19, with promotions already being carried out in an active manner.

Vishal Film Factory had last week released a new single track from Chakra titled 'Amma Song' sung by Chinmayi Sripada and Prarthana to the music of composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Post the positive response to Yuvan's latest song, the makers have now released a hard-hitting sneak peek mass scene from Chakra, which has Vishal raising important questions to a youngster who abuses his power on an innocent elderly security guard. Vishal makes the youngster aware of the injustices in the society and informs how the youth is a coward by exercising his anger on another individual instead of raising the voice against those who are committing serious crimes.

Based on the Chakra trailer released sometime back, the story in the film is centered around Vishal, who plays a police officer out on a mission to find out the person who has stolen his father's Ashok Chakra medal. Based on the promotion material released so far, the film will be high on action, with Vishal having proven to be a specialist in the genre over the years. The film has Shraddha Srinath giving company to Vishal also as a police officer, while also playing his romantic interest. The promos had also shown her to be executing some tough stunts in the action scenes. Despite her role being kept under tight wraps, Regina Cassandra is speculated to be the main antagonist.

Apart from Vishal, Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra, Chakra includes Srushti Dange, Robo Shankar, Manobala, K. R. Vijaya among others in major supporting roles, with cinematography by Balasubramaniem, editing by Thiyagu and stunts by Anl Arasu. Watch Vishal's Chakra sneak peek below:
