Vishal recently wrapped up shooting for his next action thriller, Chakra, directed by debutant MS Anandan. He also has Thupparivaalan 2 which will mark his directorial debut. Recently, it was officially announced that Vishal would be teaming up with director Anand Shankar of Iru Mugan and Arima Nambi fame for an action film and the news created a good buzz on social media. Vishal’s good friend and actor Arya will be seen as the other lead and if reports are to be believed, he will be seen as the antagonist. Arya was initially supposed to play the villain in director PS Mithran’s Irumbu Thirai, but however, it did not materialize as planned. What was missed in Irumbu Thirai will now happen through this new project which is tentatively addressed as Vishal 30 and Arya 32. Vishal and Arya have already acted together in Bala’s Avan Ivan and this is their second outing together.

The film will be produced by Vinod Kumar under the banner of Mini Studios and will have music scored by the current sensation, SS Thaman. The film will have cinematography by RD Rajasekhar. It has now been revealed that Vishal has joined the sets of the film in Hyderabad at Ramoji Rao Film City. All precautionary measures are followed during the shoot and the makers are said to be filming the scenes with utmost care. Vishal shared the news through his official Twitter page and shared a short video as well.

In this video, we see Vishal getting ready and entering the shooting spot after completing all the Covid 19 formalities. The makers also tease the viewers by revealing very little about Vishal’s makeover in the film. This new video has come as a treat for the fans and it looks like an interesting project is in the making. Vishal and Arya are two strong performers and it is going to be exciting to see them together. If Anand Shankar packs the film neatly with a convincing story and an engaging screenplay, we can hope the film to do well at the box office.

This untitled film is scheduled to release next year, but the date is yet to be fixed. Check out the newly released video from the shooting spot here:
