Vishal's production house Vishal Film Factory has been handed over a temporary ban by the Tamil Film Producer's Council for allegedly speaking against the association and defaming it. In a recent interview to a Tamil magazine, the actor said that the association failed to take any steps against piracy or address the issues related to satellite rights of the movies. Following this, the Council gave Vishal time to issue an explanation or apology but he decided to stand by his words. Today, a press note from the Council has revealed that the actor-producer will be removed the association temporarily. More details awaited.
However, actor Vishal has clarified that he has not received any clarification from the Council from this yet.
