Vishal has completed the first schedule shoot of his next film which is tentatively called Vishal 32. The shooting of the film kickstarted from the beginning of this month in Chennai and after two weeks of continuous shoot, the schedule has now been wrapped up. This film is directed by debutant A Vinoth Kumar, a former associate of director Gaurav Narayanan of Sigaram Thodu fame. Vishal 32 has music composed by Kaithi sensation Sam CS, while the cinematography and stunt choreography departments are headed by Balasubramaniem and Dhilip Subbarayan respectively. Pon Parthiban has penned the dialogues for this film.

Vishal 32 is touted to be an action entertainer and it will have the young and talented Sunaina playing the female lead. Vishal 32 will mark her second outing with Vishal after Samar. Details regarding the rest of the cast are yet to be known. The film is bankrolled by Vishal's close friends and actors - Ramana and Nandha, who are producing this film under the banner of RaNa Productions. Vishal's next release in Tamil cinema will be Enemy which is scheduled to release in theatres during the Dussehra weekend in October. Enemy is a stylish action drama that will have Arya playing the antagonist. Enemy is directed by Anand Shankar of Iru Mugan and Arima Nambi fame and has Mirnalini Ravi playing the female lead.

Vishal is also working on his other film, Veerame Vaagai Soodum, which is helmed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan. Veerame Vaagai Soodum is scheduled for release in December and the film is currently in the post-production stages. Veerame Vaagai Soodum features Dimple Hayathi as the female lead, while the supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Raveena Ravi, SPR Akilan, and others.
