Viruman is an upcoming Tamil action drama film written and directed by M. Muthaiah and starring Karthi in the eponymous role and debutant Aditi Shankar, while Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, Soori, Karunas, Vadivukkarasi, and Saranya Ponvannan play supporting roles. The film is produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the banner of 2D Entertainment. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is handled by Selvakumar S. K. The film has been scheduled to release theatrically on 12 August 2022.
The film’s audio launch took place in Madurai just a few days back and it was massive. The makers of the film released all the songs from the upcoming film which were received incredibly well by the fans. They all flocked to the event to sneak a peek of their favourite as well as listen to the tunes from his upcoming film.
Yesterday (August 5), makers of the film took the chance and dropped three entirely different promos from the film back-to-back (back-to-back-to-back in this case). The first promo features Viruman showing off his vigour as he beats the living life out of bad guys into pulp. We also find out that he is the son of Prakash Raj in the film who says he’s the last of his four sons who came out to be the devil.
The second promo features the comical relationship he shared with his father who attempts to shoot him in the promo. As serious as that may sound, the scene serves as a comic relief.
The final promo features Viruman dancing to ‘Kanja Poovu Kannala’ as tries to swoon Aditi Shankar’s character. We also hear his sidekick say, “Viruman does not tolerate people who shout at him or those who pull a knife on him". The promo ends with his father shouting at him resulting in Viruman pulling a knife on him (again, for comedic relief).
