Eyeing on actress Nithya Menen's market in Tollywood, her 2011 Malayalam film Violin, directed by Sibi Malayil, will be dubbed and released in Telugu as Dil Se. Esteem Pictures is the producer of the Telugu version.
A musical romantic film, the film revolves around Angel (Nithya Menen) and her two aunts Annie (Lakshmi Ramakrishnan) and Mercy (Reena Basheer), whose lives are transformed, when Abey (Asif Ali) walks in, as their tenant. After a bout of initial resistance from Angel, romance strikes, and the two fall in love.
Bijibal is the music director and the cinematographer is Manoj Pillai.
