Gearing up to be a massive film this year, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay in the lead role under Atlee’s direction has been announced for a Diwali release in October. Being produced by AGS Entertainment, the upcoming sports entertainer has been carrying sky-high expectations ever since it was announced earlier this year.
Vijay 63 includes many big names in its team with Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman scoring the music followed by Nayanthara playing the female lead, Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer, Soundararaja, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji among others playing important supporting roles.
A huge chunk of shooting has already been completed on Thalapathy 63 by director Atlee and his team with expectations for the film’s first look poster already being awaited with eager anticipation and bated breath by Vijay fans everywhere.
That said, actor Soundararaja, who played a big part in Vijay Sethupathi's Dharma Durai, has a vital role in Vijay 63 and revealed in a recent interview the details regarding his character in the film saying it will be short, but an important one where he has six scenes among which two are flashback sequences while the rest are set in the present day time.
As for his scenes with Vijay, Soundararaja stated he had worked with the actor in Theri for three days and had gotten to act alongside him for an additional day this time in Thalapathy 63. He added it was a huge learning experience to perform with him and stated that the star finishes his shot in a single take and would not rehearse much.
Thalapathy 63 will reportedly see Vijay playing the role of a coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team, which will apparently include Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer among others as part of the playing eleven.
