Vijay Sethupathi has reached a humungous growth in his acting career, having multiple releases in a year. His recent release, Sindhubaadh did not only flunk at the box-office, but also was disappointing for the audience. However, he has Sanga Tamizhan, Kadaisi Vivasaayi, Maamanithan, Laabam, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in Telugu and Marconi Mathai in Malayalam amongs the other untitled ones. Titled as "Maamanithan", this project is directed by Seenu Ramasamy, featuring Vijay Sethupathi, S. Gayathrie, "Mynaa" Sukumar and others. Now, Seenu Ramasamy has updated that the post-production work is going on in a full swing and the movie has been planned to release on September or October.

This project is bankrolled by Yuva Shankar Raja's YSR Films and the music is composed by him, "Isaignani" Ilayaraaja and Karthik Raja. The camera was cranked by cinematographer , Sukumar, while the editing will be handled by Sreekar Prasad.

 However, his lineups "Sanga Tamizhan" is directed by Vijay Chandar, "Kadaisi Vivasaayi" by "Kakka Muttai" Manikandan, "Laabam" by "Peraanmai" fame S. P. Jananathan.

Apart from these, Vijay Sethupathi's next production venture is Chennai Palani Mars, for which he would also be venturing as a dialogue writer, after Orange Mittai.
