Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is a busy man always who keeps shuttling between various projects. His next film, Tughlaq Durbar, was officially launched this morning in Chennai with a formal pooja. As we had reported earlier through GalattaBreaking, this film will feature Kaattru Veliyidai fame Aditi Rao Hydari as the female lead. The pairing definitely looks fresh and it is going to be interesting to see how their scenes pan out. R Parthiban plays an important lead in this film and he will be sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi again after Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. 96' director Premkumar will crank the camera for this film which has music scored by Govind Vasantha.

The film is directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan, a former associate of director Balaji Tharaneetharan of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Seethakaathi fame. This project was announced by Vijay Sethupathi at the success meet of 96 and it has now kickstarted in style. The makers have officially launched the title logo of this film that signifies that Tughlaq Durbar is a political satire. It has also been revealed that this film will hit the screens in Summer 2020.

The exact release date of this film is yet to be locked. The summer of 2020 already owns a lot of interesting projects lined up that include Thala 60, Thalapathy 64 (tentative), etc. and with Tughlaq Durbar joining the list, things have become even more exciting.
